Need to project cash, know what the business is worth, or change course?
P1P turns company numbers into projections, scenarios and valuations that leadership can use to decide, with assumptions documented and reviewed with you.
Based in Rio de Janeiro · remote service in Brazil and abroad
It makes sense when the decision is big and the numbers need to support it
Cash gets tight without warning
There is no reliable projection for the coming months, and every decision on payment terms or investment becomes a bet.
Targets have no basis
The budget is copied from last year, or does not exist, and no one tracks the variances.
You need to know what it is worth
A sale, a new partner, fundraising or succession requires a defensible valuation.
The current model does not add up
Falling margins, a heavy structure, or a portfolio that needs to be reviewed.
Three areas of work, engaged according to the decision you need to make
Budget, targets and scenarios
A financial plan that leadership actually follows.
- Annual budget by area or unit
- Cash and results projection
- Scenarios with explicit assumptions
- Targets and a routine for tracking variances
Financial modeling and valuation
To sell, raise capital, bring in a partner, plan succession, or evaluate an investment.
- Financial model with documented assumptions
- Valuation by discounted cash flow and multiples
- Business plan and investment plan
- Sensitivity analysis of the assumptions
Business restructuring
When the current model needs to change to generate results again.
- Financial and operational assessment
- Restructuring plan with targets and owners
- Review of portfolio and cost structure
- Follow-up on execution

About planning and valuation
How is a valuation done?
A valuation estimates what a company is worth based on its ability to generate cash in the future. P1P mainly uses discounted cash flow, compared with market multiples, and documents every assumption so the result can be discussed and defended.
How long does a valuation take?
It depends on the availability and quality of the information. The timeline and stages are set in the proposal, before work begins.
Can the valuation be used to sell the company, raise capital or plan succession?
Yes. The same work can support a sale, a new partner, fundraising, succession or an investment decision. The purpose is set at the start, because it changes the assumptions and the level of detail.
What is the difference between cash flow and the income statement?
Cash flow shows the money coming in and going out. The income statement (P&L) shows whether the company made a profit or a loss in the period, on an accrual basis. A company can be profitable and still run short of cash, which is why both need to be tracked together.
How do you build a business budget?
You start from the business targets, project revenue, costs and investments by area, and set a monthly routine to compare actuals with the plan. P1P structures the model and the routine together with your team.
Shall we talk about your situation?
Tell us in a few lines what is holding back your management. We reply with the next steps and, if it makes sense, a proposal with scope, deliverables and completion criteria.
